Comment on John Lewis hires advisers to launch supply chain review by darren hoggett

Always a concern when businesses have to bring in 'advisers' or 'consultants', because you're essentially paying somebody else to tell you what you already know or should know. Supply chain relationships and the fiscal aspects/economics is almost basic school leaver stuff, so why haven't JLP got these basic skills to do this in-house?
